Affinity4 Prepaid Wireless
Service
Cash Card
A Cash Card is a convenient
feature that allows for directory assistance, voice roaming, and usage of
voice, text and data beyond what is allowed in the prepaid service plan you
selected. The balance on your cash account will roll over month to month
for 12 months and the cash balance does not expire until it reaches $0. We
offer $5 or $10 cash cards with our
Prepaid Wireless Plans.
We
recommend all new orders include a cash card to cover any additional
charges - refer to the Prepaid
Wireless Rates in the Support section on our Web site:

I have an unlimited plan so why do I need a
Cash Card?
If you have selected an
unlimited voice and messaging plan, you will still incur charges for
directory assistance calls, roaming and data (if data usage exceeds plan
amount). If you do not have a cash balance on your account, and make a
directory assistance call or exceed your plan usage, you will be
re-directed to our Customer Care Team to discuss payment
options.
What happens if I have a
limited voice plan with limited text messages and use up my minutes
first?
If you have a limited voice
plan along with text messaging, these plans are voice driven. If you use up
your minutes before the allowed text messages, you can continue to send
text messages. But, if you attempt to make a call, you will be re-directed
to our Customer Care Team to discuss payment options.
What happens if I have a
limited voice and messaging plan and make a directory assistance call, roam
or incur text or data overages?
If you make a directory
assistance call, roam or send a message after you have reached your plan
limit, usage will be applied in the following order:
o Cash Card; if no cash card on the account
then
o Voice minute equivalents; if voice limit is
reached or not enough minutes then
o Re-directed to our Customer Care
Team.
What are voice minute
equivalents?
Voice minute equivalents are
set-up for text overages, directory assistance calls and roaming minutes.
Minutes (if available) will be used to cover the cost. Minute equivalents
are only available on limited voice and messaging plans and will only be
used if there is no Cash Card in the account. Refer to Prepaid Service
Minute Equivalents:
Prepaid Service Minute Equivalents in the Support section.
How do I replenish a Cash Card
when it runs out?
If you add a Cash Card at time
of activation, or when a Cash Card is added and you request the Card to be
placed on auto pay, we will automatically charge the credit or debit card
on your account when your balance reaches $0.
If you add a Cash Card after
activation or as a one-time request, and do not want the Card to replenish
when the balance reaches $0, you will need to contact us to replenish or
add another Card.
